Student Accommodation

Frequently asked questions

  • Why choose studio accommodation?

Our studio apartments offer the best of both worlds! You will have your own private space with kitchen and en-suite, whilst also having access to the excellent communal social areas on the property to have fun with your friends. Studio flats are also an excellent choice for those who pride themselves on cleanliness – you’ll have no arguments about washing up or your flatmates leaving their dishes to ‘soak’ for three days.

Find your perfect room at one of our properties by taking a virtual tour before booking. This way you can get a feel for the room sizes, layouts and social areas too.

  • What are the benefits of having bills included with rent?

Having bills included in your rent means you can relax knowing that no additional costs for water, electricity and WiFi will be added. That means you will never go cold in winter because your flatmates are complaining about the heating bills and no stress of working out how to split the bills.

You can view all account and payment information at the online MyXenia portal. Your account gives you access to how much rent you need to pay and when.

  • Are there options available for staying with friends?

Our studio accommodation is available for double occupancies. Alternatively, if you would prefer to have your own space but still be close to your friends, you can move in next door – please call our Lettings Team on 0330 9957 987 and they can help.

  • Is Xenia Students accommodation suitable for international students?

Our UK student accommodation is extremely popular with international students and our team accommodates hundreds each year. Having space to relax, our excellent city-centre locations which are close to university and great social areas make Xenia the perfect choice. We have student accommodation across the UK, with properties in Chester, Glasgow, Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sunderland and Sheffield.

  • How do I book my student accommodation?

For 2023/2024 bookings, you will need to pay a holding deposit of a week’s rent, this will form part of your security deposit (£250) which is payable upon move-in.  For more information please visit our Information Page.

  • Will my apartment be close to university?
